The seed that led me to want to make bags was born when I was about 15 years old, while I was with my dad at his friend's shop, which sold bags and was also a bag maker.

I have always had an artistic and crafty streak, later on I learned that we had several seamstresses in our family. My grandmother was a milliner and made hats, my grandfather and uncle were furniture upholsterers, and on my grandfather's side, there were also bag makers.

So, it was probably not just a coincidence, but a deeper meaning.

When my brother and I sold our printing shop about 10 years ago, it became a chance for me to buy a sewing machine and start working on and sewing my ideas that had been growing for a while.

Today I now have my own studio and sew my own designed bag line and make custom bags for those who need strong, durable bags for different purposes. I repair boat covers, replace windows and zippers, and repair old and make new awnings.

I also sew windbreaks for balconies or sailcloth as sun protection for patios.
